Call Me Ireland – Free “Call Me” App

The application simplifies the process of sending a free “Call Me” SMS on Irish mobile networks. For instance, if a person has no credit but wishes to contact someone, they may send the contact’s number for free to a service number e.g. Send 085111119 to 50001 if your on Meteor. Along with the network defaults you may store a custom “Call Me” service number for an alternative mobile network.

Currently supports:

  •  Meteor
  •  Vodafone
  • O2
  • Others – Possibility of an alternative Irish network

The application allows users to change the default “Call Me” service number associated with each network and save this new number to memory allowing for future changes made by network operators to service numbers.

The application allows for both SMS and USSD methods of invoking “Call Me” services provided by network operators e.g.
SMS, invoked through text message – 0851111119 to 50001
USSD, invoked through call, similiar to checking credit balance and is free – 0851111119 to *103*ContactsNumber#

Default “Call Me” service numbers for Meteor, Vodafone and O2 are provided in the Help menu in case the user stores a wrong service number.
